The November 2021 Snap Shots features Dr. Anthony Hamber’s presentation on “The Rise of Photographic Illustration 1839-1880” from England,   November 7, via Zoom. Other articles: a new collection of African-American photographer’s work at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC; the Kodak Scout cameras; the Minolta Weathermatic A; “Left Behind: Afghan Studio Portraits,” a result of the chaotic departure from Afghanistan, with uncollected or duplicate photographs (above) found in drawers or boxes; Photographica 89 Returns—Saturday, April 23, 2022.
