Donations

Make a Financial or Equipment Donation To PHSNE

Thank you for your interest in making a donation to PHSNE! There are multiple ways you can contribute to the Photographic Historical Society of New England (PHSNE). For information on how to donate, see below for links and more details. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and registered with the US Internal Revenue Service. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out using the contact form on the Contact Us page.

Financial Support

If you would like to support PHSNE with a financial contribution, you can donate online using your credit card or a personal PayPal account. You do not need to establish a PayPal account and they accept major credit cards.

If you prefer to mail a check or money order please see the instructions to donate by postal mail below.

Equipment Donations

You may donate cameras, images, darkroom equipment, film, paper, and photographic ephemera. PHSNE will provide you with a donation form but can not provide an estimated value for tax purposes.

PHSNE may give these items away to photography students or museums or auction them to provide operating funds for PHSNE.

If you have items you wish to donate, contact PHSNE by using the contact form on the Contact Us page.

Your donation helps PHSNE to accomplish our vision of:

Providing an unparalleled experience for PHSNE members and the general public where they are involved in learning and contributing to exploring, promoting, and valuing our shared photographic history.

A few of the practical ways we accomplish that is by:

  • Publishing an annual full-color publication The New England Journal of Photographic History— filled with in-depth articles on photo history
  • Continuing to host PHSNE’s famous annual Photographica camera and image trade show and auction
  • Support school outreach programs for film-based photography, historic processes, classic cameras, equipment, and images

Donate by Postal Mail

If you prefer to use a check or money order denominated in US dollars, make it to the order of Photographic Historical Society of NE and mail to:

President
Photographic Historical Society of New England
