The April 2021 Snap Shots features a little-known group of amateur photographers from Ayer, Massachusetts, who documented the historic Harvard Shaker Village (above) in the late 19th- and early 20th-century. Ned Quist, a retired librarian and woodworker interested in Shaker furniture, will present his research on this group at the Zoom meeting Sunday, April 4, 2021. Other items include: “Are obsolete digital cameras collectible?”; a short article on Minolta’s 110 Zoom SLR; and the discovery of a “lost” photo studio in Geneva, New York, with original glass plate images of Susan B. Anthony.
What the heck…
Are Those Even Cameras?!
