UPDATE: The March 16 auction of Reiner Riedler’s 20 photographs raised 42,000€ for aid to Ukrainian refugees. – WestLicht Museum, March 17, 2022
On his twelve journeys through Ukraine (from 1990 to 2014), Reiner Riedler developed a deep connection to the country and its inhabitants. Out of solidarity with the victims of Russian aggression, he immediately decided to make the entire group of works shown in the current WestLicht exhibition “This Side of Paradise” available for sale at auction. All proceeds (100 percent) from the auction will benefit Caritas for survival aid to the people of Ukraine.
