After a meeting-less spring, this virtual meeting offers a unique opportunity for members—local and outside the New England area—to attend a PHSNE program. Our presenter is Stacy Waldman, proprietor of House of Mirth Photos, a dealer and collector of vintage and found vernacular photography. She specializes in 20th century photo albums, snapshots, and ephemera. Photos that she has discovered have been included in numerous exhibitions and publications throughout the world, including the popular book Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Her presentation will showcase 20th century snapshots and photo albums from her collection, including popular topics such as photos of people with cameras, television sets, color snapshots, and much more. Waldman can be found at photography, ephemera, and book shows throughout the country and abroad, and at her showroom, Spot 142 in Easthampton, MA, by appointment. You may also find her online at https://www.houseofmirthphotos.com, on eBay as houseofmirthphotos, and on Instagram and Facebook as Houseofmirthphotos. Look for the email with more details on using Zoom and joining this first-ever PHSNE virtual presentation,
