Read the COVID-19 message to PHSNE community from Joel Moses, PHSNE President, at President's Message. If you are not on our email distribution list, you can stay in touch as PHSNE responds to the COVID-19 pandemic by joining the snap shots and Photographica email lists at PHSNE emails.

Due to the COVID-19 social distancing and stay-at-home advisories, PHSNE activities at 47 Calvary St including processing physical donations, consignments, and school outreach pickups are by appointment only. Processing of physical mail, checks and phone messages may be delayed. Emails are being processed normally.

The goal of PHSNE's School Outreach Program is to help support public and, private schools, colleges, art institutes and summer camp photography instructors and their students. Especially as expressed by traditional (analog) photography and related darkroom practices. PHSNE does this by providing, for free, donated 35mm SLR film cameras and enlargers to programs in need of these items.

Students and instructors are also invited to participate in PHSNE sponsored shoots/field trips, and meetings. They also get free admission to our annual, April, Photographica show and auction.

To request a camera or other assistance please email our Director of School Outreach, Holly Worthington at with any questions or requests.

Holly has taught in the Visual Art Department at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA since 1990 and darkroom photography there since 1996. Originally from Ohio, she received her B.F.A. and M.A.T. from Maryland Institute College of Art.

Donations to support the School Outreach Program are welcome, especially 35mm SLRs and darkroom equipment. All donations are tax deductible. To make a donation simply contact Holly at or PHSNE's President.
